List of Assignments

Now that we're (oh my god) five or six years older than we were when we had the first Februarium, we should have new material - juicy tidbits to share, grievances to shed, lost friends and lovers to remember. Below is a list of assignments. You could pick at least one to do (I'm going to do all of them, but I know you are all probably busier and more important than I am) and post it here. Some of them are photographs, some are videos, some are writing.

1. Say Goodbye: Write a list of memories/people/objects/emotions/etc. you'd like to say goodbye to. Maybe it won't be forever, but choose those things to which you'd like to bid an eternal adieu.
E.g.: Goodbye road rage.
Goodbye clove cigarettes.
Goodbye boys who don't call me back.
Goodbye acid indigestion.

2. Write a list, with epithets, of people you've kissed. (Romantically, guys, grandmothers don't count.) E.g.: Paul the magic card player, Dan who had blue braces ...

3. Take or find a photograph of a place that holds a specific memory for you, when you felt very loved or very unloved. Post the photograph with a caption describing what happened there. For instance, I might post a photograph of my Middle School computer lab where, in seventh grade, I found out Andrew decided to go out with someone else.

4. Take a video of yourself dancing and/or lip syncing to a song that reminds you of what it means to be in love. E.g. I'm considering "Too Close" by Next.

5. Write about the moment you met the first person you kissed/slept with/fell in love with.

6. Write a creative story in which you meet and become romantically involved with your fantasty man. E.g. I might write about meeting Seth Rogen while drinking a margarita and eating a chicken tamale on the beach in Sicily.
